Six Tips For Naturally Removing Earwax at Home

Earwax, or cerumen, is the yellow substance which is very important for our ears because it acts as a natural lubricant.

Earwax prevents ear damages that can happen from bacterial infections or harmful particles that could enter them.

If a big amount is produced, it can be irritating and disgusting for some, and can be the cause for dizziness, hearing loss, itching etc.

how to naturally remove earwax

These symptoms tend to happen from obstruction of the ear canal. Even though ear wax is cleaned naturally, we need to clean them out ourselves to prevent large amounts from clogging our ears.

While most people use cotton swabs to clean out the ears, this is considered a very unproductive way of cleaning the ear and can also cause more harm to the ears rather than clean them. As you use a cotton swab it pushes the wax more into the ear. There, it accumulates, which causes more serious obstruction.

Frequently using earplug or earphones might be the reason for the large amount of earwax producing in the ears.

You can have the following symptoms if you suffer from excess earwax deposits:
• Earaches
• Hearing loss
• Dizziness
• Feeling of clogged ear canal
• Ringing in the ears
• Itching
• Ear discharge

To avoid having earwax build-up, it’s recommended to clean them often… but never with cotton swabs.
