How to prepare the drink:
Ingredients: 
– 400 grams of onions
– 1 liter of water
– 400 grams of brown sugar (for a healthier version, use honey or maple syrup)
– 2 tablespoons turmeric
– Ginger root the size of a thumb

Instructions:
Put the water in a pot and heat it on a medium-high temperature. Add the sugar and stir until it begins to boil.

Chop up the onion and ginger root and add them both to the sugar water. Wait until it comes to a boil again and place the turmeric inside and turn the heat to medium-low.

Cook the mixture until the amount of water is reduced by half. Then filter and pour into a glass jar. When completely cooled, place it in the refrigerator and keep it there all the time.

Take two tablespoons of this mixture in the morning on an empty stomach, and two in the evening two hours after a meal.
