Unsightly, stubborn growths that can appear most anywhere on the skin, warts can be embarrassing, irritating, and depressing. Many times, warts will go away on their own, but sometimes they can be stubborn and stick around for much longer than you’d like.
What you should know about Warts?
Warts are benign (not cancerous) skin growths that appear when a virus infects the top layer of the skin. The most common cause of warts are viruses from the human papillomavirus group.
Infection occurs through direct contact, and rarely by indirect contact through objects or autoinoculation (when the wart infects the surrounding healthy skin of the same person). Time of incubation is 1 to 18 months.
The worst way to get rid of warts is to remove them surgically, which is why we wanted to share these two incredible natural remedies that will help you get rid of warts fast.
The easiest natural remedies to get rid of warts and prevent them from showing up again:
1. Lemon and vinegar
This remedy will help you get rid of warts in several days. Here is how to prepare it.
Ingredients:
– 100ml apple vinegar
– 2 lemons
Procedure:
Pour the apple vinegar in a glass container. Peel the lemons and finely chop or grate the peel. Mix all ingredients and leave the mixture in the glass container for a week.
How to apply:
Apply the mixture several times a day until the warts disappear completely. It usually takes 3-4 days.
2. Eggs
This remedy is not as fast as the previous one, but it will definitely help you naturally get rid of warts in a period of 2-3 weeks.
Here is what you need:
– 2 fresh eggs
– cotton
– bandage/plaster
Procedure:
Break the eggs and put the eggshells in a separate pot. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and bake the eggshells on a baking paper for half an hour.
One the eggshells are cooled, crumble them as much as you can. The best is if you can grind them into powder. Keep the eggshell “dust” in a closed glass container.
How to apply:
Put a bigger amount of eggshell powder on top of the wart, cover it with cotton and fix it with a plaster. Change the coating every third day for a period of 2-3 weeks until the wart gets removed completely.
